When we needed to have a dead tree removed and replaced, we called Robert W. Hendricksen. We had seen their trucks locally and their offices in Wheeling were close to our house and we wanted a local business. We were able to order a new tree directly from them and quickly scheduled a time to take out the old tree. After the digging began the crew noticed the remains of an old stump in the same area that we had totally forgotten was even there. They had to call for an extra piece of equipment to be brought in to remove both the dead tree and the other old stump at no additional cost. The area was totally cleaned out and the new tree was planted. The entire crew was courteous, friendly and respectful. Both our yard and the neighbor's yard and driveway was protected and undamaged. Afterward, when we were talking to Bob Hendricksen, we asked about another tree on our property that was in distress after a recent room addition. He personally gave us information and tips for steps that we could take to help that tree recover and survive.
