Hill garden needs to be reworked to reduce maintenance. Presently It is irrigated has a south and east exposure with spruce trees on the west and northern sides. Although it is composed of mock orange, Rose of Sharon, forsythia, and other shrubs it is not necessary to keep these in the new plan. Present perennials include daffodils, iris, day lily, peony, false sunflower, poppy, butterfly weed, hibiscus, and others but they too can be part of the new plan or not. The soil is sandy loam with the emphasis on sand.

The well pump is decorative and can be moved but I would like incorporated in the new garden. I am looking for color throughout the seasons that the deer are not going to destroy.
