On 11/30/12, I gave Wayne Wheeler, owner of Down to Earth Landscaping (DTE), a check in the amount of $1,500.00 as a 50% down payment for services that included the excavation and removal of nine tree stumps on my home property. That check was deposited/cashed the same day. After numerous failed attempts for the past five months to contact DTE to arrange for the actual work to be done, I have requested that my deposit be returned, but get no response. I have proceeded with another company and need the deposit back to cover the cost of the originally requested services.
