I contracted Pro Turf Lawn company early in 2013 for the typical fertilizer and weed control issues.I am a single mother of two with some health issues so I asked that they call and schedule appointments with me as I did not want them showing up at my home should my kids be home alone, my dogs being out or I would have another surgical procedure. Pro Turf regardless of how much I complained would call and leave a message they were showing up. They had no regard for my request to show up on another day. Their typical response was that I am contracted to accept their service and they were going to show up.On several occasions I had to complain about the service that was provided and had to request them to come back multiple times to actually kill the 2' weeds I had growing in my yard.nWhen I was able to be home when they serviced they literally spent 5 minutes providing treatment and 15 minutes sitting in their truck.For the last service of the year, what they call winterizing, they showed up without an appointment and treated with snow on the ground and apparently charged me for a lime service that I did not request. When I called to complain about this they told me I requested the service and I would pay for it. I told them I would pay them for the regular service but would not pay for the lime service. They declined and sent me to a collection agency. I have disputed the charge with the agency. This is a horrible company to try to deal with.
