My name is Tim Swartz, and I live in South Portland, Maine.
My mission is to make the neighborhood better, one place at a time. I want the property owner to smile at the results of my work. I am going to be the best at managing my corner of the earth. This means making unwanted items disappear, making buildings work better, making plants thrive, and making pathways inviting.
-As the owner of Swartz Enterprises I have helped many people improve their properties. I have been in construction for more than 10 years. I have worked with contractors in landscaping, tree care, concrete, wood framing, carpentry, door and window installation, drywall, painting, flooring, and ceilings. I enjoy making all manner of improvements to whatever I find.
-I want the earth to be a better place to live for future generations. I see the earth as a place to be cared for with an eye for the future. The way I see it, I should do things right, right now. That way I won't worry about the future: when something I've put together is done right, it will last.
-I started this business to make my corner of the world look better, to assist you in learning ways to use the world's resources better, and to help you enjoy your living space.
-I should treat people, places, and things as I would want to be treated, and they will be around to enjoy life long after I'm gone.
-I want you to see your world with new eyes. I want you to realize the value of your surroundings, and maximize the potential of all your people, possessions and property.
-I hope you share my passion for the environment. It's easily adopted by all ages. I care about my world. If you get to know me, you'll see I want the best for you, too.
-As you learn more of what can be recycled, and respond with actions, you will reduce your real costs in the long run. The more you recycle, the less new things cost.
-I don't want anyone to treat the earth as their trash receptacle, although getting rid of trash is a necessary step. We should nurture the earth like a tree.
